Splendor and Culture of Panama - November Gala 2025

Every year, Folklore y Ritmos de Panama has the honor of hosting a Gala which is attended by many of our most loyal followers, family and friends in the Austin and San Antonio Community. It's the culmination of an entire year of hard work, dedication and community.

All of the dance members of Folklore y Ritmos de Panama en Austin as well as our volunteers work tirelessly to put together an amazing show of Panamanian culture which includes folkloric dances from Panama by our Austin ensemble as well as a dance studio directly from Panama, food, music and especial guests.

This year, Folklore y Ritmos de Panama in Austin invited Murga Inspiracion Chorrerana who kept us dancing all night.

La Chichi de Papa/ Elvia Nessari (Host and Panamanian Folklore Celebrity from Hecho en Panama) who kept our guests entertained during outfit changes, sang and made everyone smile!

La Reina de "Calle Arriba de las Tablas" Almendra Crovari who displayed and danced with two beautiful elaborate Carnaval and Evening Gowns.

We also had very special guests from Panama - Folk Dance Studio. Folklore Dance Ensemble directed by Odette Cortez and Rafael Chong.
